  • Account information: Name and email address, provided via our authentication provider (Clerk).
  • Proposal data: Project descriptions, client names, and generated proposal content that you create within the app.
  • Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Usage data: Basic analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product. We use cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics.

How We Use Your Data

  • To generate and store your proposals
  • To process subscription payments
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, account updates)
  • To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns

We do not use your proposal content to train AI models. Your business data stays yours.

Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate SoloTools:

  • Clerk — Authentication and user management
  • Supabase — Database and file storage
  • OpenAI — AI proposal generation (your project details are sent to OpenAI's API to generate proposals)
  • Stripe — Payment processing
  • Cloudflare — Hosting and analytics

Each provider has their own privacy policy and handles data in accordance with applicable laws.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a secured Supabase database with row-level access controls. All connections use TLS encryption. We follow industry-standard security practices and limit data access to what's necessary.

Your Rights

You can:

  • Access your data at any time through your dashboard
  • Delete individual proposals or your entire account
  • Export your proposals as PDF
  • Cancel your subscription at any time

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Our analytics are cookieless.
